When we are living with more trouble and suffering than usual, finding the right psychological support and treatment is a big step to take.
At the Blue Gum Centre for Psychology & Psychotherapy we aim to:

Work with a clear approach, but not rigidly
Listen and engage with you on problems relevant to you and do so with care
Closely monitor our effectiveness to continually improve the impact of our treatments

We understand that psychological difficulties are not always clear-cut or visible. Most people who seek help have multiple problems, many of which may fall outside a recognized mental health condition.

Problems can be longstanding or can come and go. It may be anxiety or pain, lack of direction, grief, or depression. It may be a sense of feeling out of control or being controlled in relationships or being unfulfilled professionally. It may be a dull sense of loneliness or a lack of connection in life. It may be that past hurts and trauma are shaping and influencing your life in the present.

When it gets to this point, we’re often not available to life in the way we want to be. It’s more difficult to live by what matters to us, see and grasp opportunity, or meet challenges. We’re likely to be less open to possibility.

SERVICES
IS THERAPY FOR YOU?
Therapy is beneficial when your usual ways of dealing with life’s challenges are no longer working. Sometimes, all of your best efforts to find solutions can end up becoming part of the problem. You may feel out of options, and not able to shake it.
When you no longer feel able to sort out matters on your own, there is clear evidence to suggest the support and objectivity of a trained psychologist or psychotherapist can make a difference.
